Kiss Marry Kill (for Men and Woman bc apparently I'm gay (not really))

Men

First up in the three men, first I would kiss Tom, marry Gatsby, and kill Wilson. 

This might be a surprise but I would kiss Tom. Many would go for the kill but I think otherwise. Reason being, towards the end of the book. After going into town, Gatsby confesses that he loved Daisy. Tom is broken about this and tries to at any point to see if there was a time she loved him. After the verbal fight he surrenders and says they can ride home together. This was his way of letting her go.

“Her frightened eyes told that whatever intentions, what-ever courage she had , were definitely gone. “You two start on home, Daisy,” said Tom. “In Mr. Gatsby’s car.”

“If you love someone, let them go.” A quote that fits this situation. He most likely saw that fear and that Daisy was portrayed and realized what he had done. So in the end he gave up and let Gatsby have her. He seemed to still love her after everything was revealed.

“I suppose the latest thing is to sit back and let Mr. Nobody from Nowhere make love to your wife.”

From this quote from Tom we can see he still is protective of his wife and is concerned of the situation.

“Not the day I carried you down from the punch bowl to keep your shoes dry…. Daisy?”

From this quote I can tell he still loved Daisy and was heartbroken to know that the woman he married never loved him. Even though he cheated on her it seems like the main point was the physical activity. Even though it’s unforgivable and he’s hurt Daisy, I would not kill him. Also about the cheating situation is the same reason I wouldn’t marry him in the chance he would cheat on me. I respect him enough to not kill him and prefer to not be married to him.

Second, I would marry Gatsby. Reason is I wouldn’t want to marry either Tom or Wilson. Also if I marry him I get a life of luxury. From the book it seems like he’ll do anything to impress his loved one and I would find those little or big acts romantic; that he’s doing all that for me. I don’t have a lot to say for Gatsby since this choice was the last and in the end I don't want to be married to any of the men.

Lastly, I would kill Wilson, reason one, I don’t like him, two, he’s poor, three, he killed Gatsby, which was a crap thing to do. Sure he was getting back at his wife but who I blame most for that situation is Wilson himself. He beat her and locked her up to the point she was trying to run away and ended up running into incoming traffic. Also it was at night so Gatsby wouldn’t be able to see her until it’s too late. So it was an accident on Gatsby's part. If Wilson wasn’t an over controlling husband and talked about it she wouldn’t have ran out, she’d still be alive and not kill Gatsby out of anger.  

Woman

Onto the woman, I would kiss Jordan, marry Daisy, and kill Myrtle.

I would kiss Jordan, even though she would be a great wife and many others think that, I don’t know how long it would go smoothly. Throughout the book, we can see that she is her own woman. She’s always doing what she wants and is adventurous. If we were to be married it would be hard to have a sit down life and with a child that would be harder. We can see she loves to golf and goes to many of Gatsby’s parties. It’s almost like she’s never satisfied wherever she is and is always wanting more. Which adds on to the sit down life when married because if she’s bored she’s limited to what she can do since she has a partner. If I were to just kiss her then it just means we’re on good terms and still be friends and participate in some activities together. 

Reason I would marry Daisy is because she’s a nice lady and could easily have a sit down life unlike Jordan. She can be a tad needy at times but all she wants is to be happy. She wasn’t happy with Tom and never loved him.

For the very last person, I would kill Myrtle. I really don’t like her. She’s needy, snobby, makes herself seem like royalty over those who are on the same level as her. Uses Tom as a side piece and sugar daddy. Same with Wilson. She wants to get out of New York and is using Wilson to get her wish. Also she has him wrapped around her finger and can easily boss him around. I would not like to marry her for that reason and I wouldn’t want to kill any of the others. It would be better if she was dead anyways.
